You can try re-seat your ram? Removing the battery and try turning it on with just the power adapter?

For that amount, if I am not mistaken, of $350 to extend the warranty, is not so bad. What is your model?

I am not sure if I can help much, other than suggesting that you take things apart, re-seat them and hope for the best.

My thinking is a failing GPU, just like many others here at NBF. You can try performing a "baking" of the GPU. Search our section and forum for the steps.

i called the warranty dept they were saying 17k to pay.
and also saying if i show my laptop to outside repair shops then they will not assist us.is it true
what i am planning if it is a major problem then i will pay 17k to dell otherwise it can be repairable at local shop because till now do not know what is the issue.
Based on the issue i will contact dell or local reppair

if any of local repair men touch my laptop then will dell not help us?
let me know plz

Dell can very well force the issue of not honoring the repair/warranty if the notebook has been opened by a 3rd party. It is your call since you know more about the notebook than us here. As I mentioned 17K Rs is not bad for USA, I do not know what it is in your part of the world comparing to the whole system.

cheers ...

Since it could be GPU and/or MoBo extending the warranty not a bad idea. Also would help in the future.

To me extending warranty is what I would do.

considering the repair costs could easily exceed the extended warranty price
