Is anyone running a Raid 5 on thier 9280? If so have you had to rebuild it? If so; how long did it take. I'm pretty pissed right now. I received my new 9280 on Tuesday and within 1 hr I had an hard drive error out. I have been rebuilding the Raid 5 since then. I was at 65% @ 2:30p pdt on thursday (today) and at 2:45 it had started over and is now @ 2%. I'm ready to wipe it and put it in a Raid 0 I guess intel's raid 5 sucks.

Here's is an update... I deleted the raId and stupid me recreated the raid 5, after 6 hours of installing software I developed another hard drive error which screwed up my install's..... same drive as before. I'll be calling Sager again in the morning and demanding a new drive next day with a saturday delivery..... we'll see how that goes. the ox

After 4 install in Raid 5 and 1 new Hard drive, I gave up. I istalled the system with Raid 0 and that solved my problems. I ran a 3d vantage benchmark test and posted my results in the bench mark area. I don't know how good they are. the are no tweaks just a basic setup.

Here is a link to the results. Let me know what you think.
