As I wrote above, if the Dell doesn't "do it" for me, I'll try something else, like that Viewsonic...or maybe even the Apple!!
Did you mean tricky set-up on a PC to have control of adjustments to the monitor or tricky to set it up to a PC?

If you meant tricky to set-up to a PC only it is simple as hooking up any type monitor, except that you have a adapter hooked up to it!

I hope the Dell works for you, let us know how you like it.
Is the Dell a digital monitor?

When I bought my 17" Apple, I viewed alot of monitors, CRT and LCD. What I found out while viewing DVD's is that the LCD's except the digital Apple monitor showed problems with playing back video with motion.

CRT's are still good, but just BIG and on the way out! Also, I found that the brightness on my Apple to be way better than the CRT's

Good luck keep us posted!

G-man -- He was referring to possible problems with adjustments to the Apple when using it with a PC. The adapter was the easy part. I was very tempted to try it, anyway, and would have had I not stumbled across the great price on the Dell LCD. It's digital, which is the only way to go, in my opinion. Like I said, if I'm not thrilled, I'll try the Apple solution. A CRT is my least favorite option. They're just too damn BIG!!!

I'll definitely write a review of my new system once it arrives, sometime this upcoming week.

Thanks for all the advice!
