They're both ugly.

I like Slappa and Booq bags.

I orderd the backpack myself and it should be delievered by the time I get home Friday, I can tell you what I think when i have it in my hands.

As far as the case - this laptop weighs a ton, so unless i was pulling it on wheels the next best thing IMO is a back pack.

Ahh, good call man, i didn't think about the weight factor... that alone warrants the backpack... Back pack it is, give us your thoughts when you get it!

well I have the backpack now

it looks nice, and considering it holds a large 17 inch laptop, it still looks small.

It may not hold as much as my Dell XPS backpack, but it holds eouhg for my needs

it has all kinds of storage pockets - some of which are kind of hidden lol.

I will see how it feels as I use it this week to lug my beast around.

Good call Turmoil. I got the briefcase when I got my m5500 and at the time did not realize that even though the laptop weighed almost 7 lbs, that when you combine all the peripherals the case weighs a lot. Carrying it through airports is a pain. Now I have a backpack and it actually solves my problems.

I'd go with a backpack.

Unless you're gonna be traveling a LOT and don't mind strapping that case to your luggage.

Well my first trip with the backpacy was OK, i think the quality is very good, and support on the shoulders was decent for the weight I was carrying

Always using backpack here. My beat up army backpack has been a true and good carrier through all the years. Not mentioning the fact that it is good for your body, having 2 straps instead of the one over the shoulder.

cheers ...
