Wireless N AP that can turn the radio on and off during the day?

Hi, that's it.

I wired my entire apartament to gigabit, but I'm stuck with 2 10/100M wireless G routers.

It's mandatory that it shall be able to turn the radio on and off at a time during the day (between 11 pm and 4 am, don't ask me).

The solution would probably be finding a gigabit wireless N router that can deactivate the radio. If not standard, maybe one that I could put a modded firmware in it (DD-wrt, X-wrt or tomato)... since all those support those kind of cron jobs (turn wifi on and off at given hours).

Thank you!

Linksys has the WRT160NL out. It's a Wireless N Router running Linux (complete with external antennae) However due to it being so new and being quite a bit different from the WRT54GL porting the firmware that's out there is going to take some time and effort.

One alternative you could try if you don't need the radio deactivated (just access via the Wi-Fi) is get a seperate Wireless N Access point and setup a router with an access restriction that blocks any communications from the AP at certain times. The radio would still be active, but anyone connected to the AP would not be able to get online.
