Will PCTorque sell the Acer Ferrari 3200?

I'm just wondering if anyone else is interested in Acer's new AMD64 notebook. Here are the specs.

The Acer Ferrari 3200 will have a high-capacity Li-ion battery, wich together with the _Mobile_ Athlon 64 2800+ is supposed to deliver up to 4 hours of battery life! (Remeber, this notebook features the Radeon 9700/128MB!). This will make it the best performing laptop with the longest battery life of any AMD64 notebook when released.

I like it! Anyone else?

1400x1050 display.

The only thing I don't like about this notebook (judging from it's specs), is that it will come with only 512MBs of RAM and it will have a preinstalled OS.

Thats great news Adam! Do you have a date yet on when you'll start selling them? Will we be able to configure them with more memory and a faster hard drive? Will they also come with a bad pixel warrenty? Thanks!

what about the acer aspire 2020 series, specifically the 2023 or the 2025 (with dothan processor)
and roughly at about what cost?

Is this new high capacity Li-ion battery compatible with F3000s, seeing as they share the exact same chassis? If so, would it be possible to purchase these individually from PCTorque?

You might want to email Adam, through the forums is not the best way.

CDW list it for $1999.99. And delivery at 1-2 weeks.

I am very interested in this laptop, but not sure I want a bright red laptop with the ferrari logo on it...kind of gauche (sp?). But I havent found any other laptops at this weight, specs and pricepoint.

Sorry, with 1,000+ posts a day I miss even the replies in the ones I post in sometimes .

We should have it up this week and the price will be right @ $2K. The dead pixel policy appears it will stand with this model also but not confirmed. I'll see if I can get a review done for one.

thats a nice price

seeing as how i saw the 3000 at costco for 1800

200 bux more for better card, faster cpu

Is the Ferrari 3200 the same as the 8003LMI except for the processor and the paint job?

and if so...which should perform better in speed, game performance and battery life?

Where is this batterylife info coming from? Acers homepage mentioned 1.5hours, even less then the ferrari 3000 which had a mention of 2 hours on the acer site.
