UL80Vt-A1 vs. UL30A-X5

80 is 14" has dedicated GPU and IGP. 30 is 13.3" 5-6oz lighter longer batt life only IGP.

If IGP is enough 13.3" greater mobility longer batt life.

There's a UL30vt, which is the uber-sweet-spot between the two, which is what I think I'm going to buy.

Here it is on Amazon

Also take a look at the UL30A-A2 - which I *think* is the same thing as the X5, only a difference color.

The ul80vt has a DVD drive, which adds a pound and change, which might be too much weight. Neither the ul30vt nor the ul30a-x5 t have the optical drive.
