stand by help

Ok someone used my inspirion 1525 and it got virus galore on it so i decided just to reinstall windows and delete the Old.windows file when i was done, i put my driver cd in and installed the drivers, My computer dose not have a hibernate optiion or stand by option now after i reinstalled windows when i go to " click what power button does " in control panel only options i have is nothing and shut off. Plz any input will be appreciated i need my laptop for school and turning it on and off isnt a option because i would have to run there network program every single time to get on their network everytime it boots back up :/

if you go into the advanced power options you can add it in

EDIT: go to your current "power plan", click on "edit plan settings" then click on "change advanced power settings" then click
"change things currently unavailable" and click ok.

then in the box go down to SLEEP and hit the + next to it. change the stuff to enable hibernation
