ok. you don't need a pm. here do this. you need two profiles. one for light and one for dark. go to advance settings in your settings and do these settings.

copy the settings that's in plugged in.
for turning your brightness all the way down.
dark/dim


i'm working on lighter conditions but it's the best settings i see. please let me know what you think.

don, what affect are you seeing by doing this?

BTW, the Latitude E6500 I've been working on is doing the same thing, it's just more random.

doing this makes dark conditions great. Where when you open up a dark page, it prevents the lcd from getting darker and when you open up a white page it doesn't temp flare you. And your eyes won't hurt compare to before.

i'm working on a brightness one where it does it in light conditions. Just give me alittle time because of school and work.

Like additional cooling for the MCP? If you could do that we could probably attempt 3.7+ Ghz with the qx9300.

i'm trying a lot of thing right now. I'm even trying to get drivers that don't work on it to work. It's a lot but someone has to do it.

right now I think the lcd is the easiest fix as the dark is perfect for me and night time conditions. Also the freezing of nst I almost got down packed. Just need testers to ensure it's 100% like the lcd issue.

The only time I saw freezing with NST is when the OC was too high.

I got freezes in nst when overclocking to high. When the system starts up and for reason, it freezes and you have to keep on rebooting or go in safe mode and just disable or uninstall the gpu driver then uninstall nst to then reinstall everything again.
