Gateway LT2041u Netbook - RAM updgrade?

I'm looking at buying a Gateway LT2041u Netbook...

...to use for typing papers, checking e-mail, and running Matlab/Mathematica at school.

Can anyone tell me if I will be able to replace the 1 GB RAM with 2 GB (will the MB support it)?

For that matter, why don't any Windows netbook come with 2 GB RAM?

I could not find any specific answers to the 2gigo stick. You can always give it a try yourself. And holding down cost is the name of the game in net-books.

just a rebadged acer. should support 2GB.
