PC Fax Freeware--Not Shareware--Needed

Hi everyone

I have an all-in-one Brother MPC-210C that can send PC faxes, but can't receive 'em. Anyone know of a completely free PC Fax program being offered by anyone? The Fax Tools program that came with the Dell printer I bought in 2003 was free from the vendor until very recently. Now they're charging for it after a very short "trial period".

Anyone know who's offering this freeware?

Yes--no paper.
OS is Vista 64; soon to be Win 7.
BTW the free program referred to in the OP was called "Fax Tools" by BVRP, and came bundled with the printer, but was also offered by itself online--for free--until very recently.

Just as an aside, a lot of business communication is still done by fax. Encryption is unwieldy, cumbersome, and not understood, so email is not secure.

I still use fax myself.

Have you ever tried this?

Looks like PC fax will be included in all versions of Windows 7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...s-fax-and-scan which is very good news! Thanks qhn!
