Would ibuypower do a custom paint job on this notebook? Sort of like having to call Hypersonic to get the CX6 painted?

i got my intel pro 2200 b/g for 40 bucks

and it got better signal/range then this xg

Velocity Micro does paint job

dont think ibuypower does that

One more question: On the customization page for Velocity Micro's B50, there is an option that says "moderate 3D video performance tuning and optimization." does that mean they overclock the gpu. And if so, is it worth paying the $40 for them to do it or could I do it myself? Thanks.

you could simply just do it your self...but of course you have bare the responsibility in case frying the gpu.

hey i noticed that the fan in the bottom is blocked on my lappy

can u guys check to see if ur fan is blocked too?

I got it up to 415 and 225 w/o artifacts
I'd lock up halfway thru 3dmark03 with those settings tho
not sure why

ati tool reverted settings back to default after the 5 sec lock up

how is it going rince? I am ready to ship mine back for full refund (less shipping costs). Despite all the issues I had, I loved it so much that I am going to reorder it again, once the new Dothan is out. We'll probably see a price drop on it

btw I noticed that yours also has Centrino sticker missing

yeah I went to reseller. E-mailed him last Friday for another replacement, then after reading someones posts about getting refurbished parts and all that, I've decided to go ahead and just send it back for refund. Reseller got back to me the same day and said that he will send me RMA on Monday (already got it) I also asked him about amount being refunded and he said I will get 100% less shipping charges.
