Inspiron bluetooth Question

Sorry if this already asked

Tried to put together a laptop Inspirion 15 for my daughter today on the Dell website. Each and ever time there was no option for bluetooth. Spoke to a Dell rep on instant chat and he said windows7was not compatable. Is this correct?

Possible that Dell has not yet updated the BT driver and software for its device under W7.

I am sure you could find a BT driver out there

I am also sure you could add the BT later yourself.

For a new 600.00 laptop from the manufacturer I shoul not have to install any drivers.

Dell site when configuring the laptop doesn't even offer the bluetooth card. So how is installing a driver going to make that work?

Just like Dave said, you can add another module in later yourself. If I am not mistaken it is a Dell wifi/BT 360 together.

Maybe buy something else?

This is going to be a Christmas gift for a 12 year old.
I really dont want to spend more than 600. 15 inch is a good size.

Any suggestions

You might want to take a look at the Sonys, they are offering great deals on good machines and at the price range that you want to get for your daughter. And they are more stylish
