Up for sale is a new (opened just to verify that it's working)
Nvidia GeForce 8800m gtx sli card that fits m1730 xps (xm888).

I am asking 550$ + shipping to a verified paypal address.

I think it's a very decent price considering they sell for about 750 at ebay.

Was just wondering if this is still for sale, and if so, what are you asking for it now?

looking to upgrade my m1730 with dual 8700m GT's as opposed to getting a new laptop.

I believe he sold it, and it's no longer in his possession. You can try Ebay just type in 9800m or 8800m and you should be able to find it. However it should be noted that in my personal opinion you should scrap the whole idea and consider getting a new laptop. the m1730 doesn't cool properly and the GPU's often overheat. There have been numerous reports and issues about this occurring right here on these boards.

Mine used to overheat with old drivers. The new drivers are totally amazing. It still needs a external cooler for extended high def gaming, but I can play Left4dead2 forever without a cooler.

Do you still need a video card for your 1710? Just wondering why it's been in ur sig so long when theres cheap ones thatll work on ebay :P

yeah i have no problems with overheating even with my 8700gt's oc'd during hours of gaming on end.
And this laptop is perfectly find pending a gpu update... this x9000 cpu still kicks some killer ass running at 3.4GHz.
