E1705 Problems...video card or RAM?

Hey all, I have a 1705 with 2x1gb RAM, and a 7900GS. Every now and then the computer BSOD's and says memory parity error.

Is this my RAM or the video card? I can't seem to find a strait answer. I also get random vertical lines on post but it goes away when windows starts, so thats why I think the video card is going.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Go with the easy check first, swap your ram around or removing one and see.

cheers ...

I swapped the RAM around with some 512 modules and also tried single DIMM's and still getting the same problem...
I did some digging and saw some screen shots of the exact same problem I'm having and it's definitly the video card unfortunately.

Would I be better off selling mine for parts? it's got the WUXGA screen and 2ghz CPU...the only video cards I can find are 300+ and that's for X1400's
