When I close my M17x lid and come back say 3 hours later, the screen stays black with all the lights on and the alien head illuminated. I can't seem to reawaken it. I have to hit the alien head to shut it off and turn it back on. I have set all the power controls to do nothing when I close the lid. I had a similar issue with my M1730. I recently installed Windows 7 as well. I am thinking this is a video driver issue. I have the dual 280m's with 179.85 drivers that came with it. I didnt update because I had heard bad things about the new drivers. Any ideas? Are there good drivers out there for this. Also if I close the lid and come back within 30 mins, it works. Thanks.
