well i originally bought a 1705 that died and i got a 1730 and than it broke about a month ago. I paid 1100 some for the 1705 about 4-5 years ago and than last year i extended my complete care for another 3 years and paid 380 some dollars. so now dell is saying they do not have a 1730 and they do not have any alienware so they offered me a 1640 or refund. i said refund. so now they are processing a refund but i have a feeling i am not going to get my 1400 back. does any one know how is dell going to $rew me this time?

I also doubt that you gonna get the whole amount back. Probably just what the (original) notebook is now worth, and maybe some extended care premium back, not all.

Dell is getting a new tactic now, with all the money losing from doling out AW replacements
