4780 monitor really dim

I think my 4780 is hooped!

I put it into hibernate mode, walked up 2 flights up stairs and turned it back on...the monitor is now about 1/20th the proper brightness. It is so dark that I thought it had hung and was just a black screen.

anyone have suggestions before I send it back?

Two asprins and then a beer? Actually, call the Sager support number if you are past the 30 day "satisfaction guarenteed" period. If not, still call and then of you are not satisfied with the response/answer/options return the unit. Actually Sager is pretty good. Best to use the option that allows you to enter a text message.
