tx1000z keyboard issues

I got a TX1000Z several years ago that has been treating me well. Recently, the area I hit the space bar with my right thumb stopped working intermittently; therefore, sometimes hit space and it does not work.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix? I do not believeI have spilled anything.

Could be just some simple cleaning up? Vacuum and canned air to the area. Be careful.

Try the compressed air in a can first, as q suggested. If that doesn't work, try pushing down fairly hard on the key and doing a circular motion to try to reseat it.
