Nope, as long as the ribbon cable is connected properly that is the main thing. As far as the screws go you should always stop when there is resistance. Don't force anything.

Perfect, the minute I felt the slightest bit of resistence, I stopped this time. A five year old girl can unscrew them if necessary.

Thats the problem with the last strip I got, after I felt the light resistence, I kept going and I think thats what might have screwd it up. I just have this fear of them be lose, they unscrew themselves. hopefully that won't happen...

Buy yourself a bag of laptop screws of off ebay just in case. I think I have a few hundred assorted laptops screws for when they're needed.
