hp dv9000 LEMON series

DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!! IT HAS INHERENT DESIGN FLAWS IN THE MOTHERBOARD HEAT DISIPATION AREA. MINE IS NOW "DEAD" AFTER JUST 1 1/2 YEARS. hp wants me to invest another $300-$400 just for this to happen again. Check the net, it is starting to popup everywhere! This is rediculous, and should be recalled! I also have a compaq desktop that has a board issue as well, but thankfully still functions and had the backups of my very time consuming work. I WILL NEVER, EVER BUY ANOTHER HP PRODUCT AGAIN after the way their support has treated me. I am a third year computer engineering student that had three midterms due the week it died and their lack of give a shit has me EXTREMELY PISSED at this company! FU HP!

This is not a review, more like a rant on an 1 1/2 year old system that broke down.

If it were a manufacturing flaw, you'd see problems much sooner than a year and a half down the line.
