I need "Acer Empowering Technology for windows 7 x64 extensa 5630" for my laptop.

If any body have the software plz provide link.

Which version is your W7 64bits?

Acer Support has the whole set for this model for all 32/64bits Vista versions. Have you tried using them first?

Go here and plug in your model and the Vista Ultimate 64bits under Operating System dialog.

Hi ghn,

In that link I found drivers software for my laptop(Extensa 5630).I am looking for Acer Empowering Technology which will help me to monitor laptop components like power,data security etc .

If you look at the tabs above the gris, you will see "Application", "BIOS", "Document", "Drivers and "Patch".

You need to click on the Application tab, then you will see the appropriate Acer applications that were being made available for your model.

ghn,

I have downloaded the ETF_Acer_3.0.3010_Vistax64Vistax86_A.zip from the mentioned site by selecting vista ultimate x64.But when I am starting the application,it is returning Operating System not supported.
Even after restart I am getting the same message

Well, it can only mean for us that Acer needs eventually to make a W7 version for these apps to customers. And hopefully soon!

Another thing you can try is to look for a current Acer model that is being delivered with W7. Then use it to download the application from the support site (as in above) and see if the apps would work.

I agree with that.

I've looked pretty extensively and haven't found a Win 7 version of eRecovery yet, a very nice piece of image creation software, which has saved my buns more than once. I love the incremental option for fast backup of OS partition.

I hope Acer is listening, eRecovery is dearly missed.
