OCZ Launches Colossus 3.5-inch 1TB SSD

This drive is crazy. A 1TB SSD Drive with a maximum read speed/write speed is 260MB/s while the Sustained write is at 220MB/s and Max IOPS at 14K. Prices are expected to be in the $600 range for the 128GB models to $3500 for 1TB version for the US market.

$3+ per gig is not so bad. It is consistent with what the initial offer and pricing used to be for new drives. I am holding out for 50cents to $1 per gig

Well of course by the GB it's a good deal.. but $3500 for a drive is hard core.
