Hey,

i updated my WLAN-hardware from the old broadcom to an Atheros n-Draft Card (mini pci). Now the Problem ist the WLAN button at the front of the Laptop. At first you can´t switch the WLAN-Card off with this button und the second is, that the LED light goes only with an dark orange color. Is it possible to solve the problem, after the change of the Cards?

you can try hacking the drivers, but that usually does not work. As long as it works I say keep it. 802.11N is worth it.

My wifi light does not even come on anymore since I changed the card, but it was kinda annoying with the blinking so I actually like it better now that it doesn't light up.

The n-Draft is very good with my n-Draft-Router....So the Card should stay inside!

The thing is that I can´t switch off the Card with this button. The flashing light is not such a big problem for me but to switch the card on and off was very good....

The Ferrari only runs good with broadcom cards but these cards are not so good like the atheros cards.
