is this string normal?

even with that @ in the beginning?

ok HALT. I fixed the BITS (via a registry entry that I might upload). I still get some 80070005 error with Windows Update but thanks to pcmon I can authorize myself the way to success.

I still have a problem with installing the Service 2 pack from the downloaded content. says that it has a problem with reboot. oh well. I'll take care of it when all the other content from WUpdate is over.

ok, help needed. I try to install the stand-alone SP2 but it gives me this error: 80070bc9. is there any way I can track this with pcmon? or you can give me the solution?

Is this SP2 KB948465? Did you pick this up from Microsoft or somewhere else? Is there another error code that associates with this error?

Most of stand alone SP2 errors result from the a missing or old update agent from MS itself. Why don't you try to have it update via MS update?

too late. I formatted the entire system. and are now a happy user of SP2.
