Gateway Notebook FX7811 Won't Power Up

Notebook wont power up. When plugged in, no lights are on. Removed battery and did power drain and plugged in without battery. No good.

Have no idea what happened. Was fine at night. Next morning had problem. Battery? A/C Adapter?

Please help! Thanks in advance....

No light ... I would try with another AC Adapter first.

Yes, make sure that you get one with the exact same voltage/amperage specs as the original. Have seen a lot of people with problems on here buying generic ones too
