Latitude C640 won't boot..need help!!!

Hello:
I have a C640 that has been working fine. Yesterday, I switched it off normally and when I power it up, it doesn't boot. All the lock LEDs ( on the top of the keyboard) and the 2 LEDs on the side ( Power On and Hard disk), stays on solid for a 4-5 seconds and then everything dies. I searched these forums but couldn't find any information. What could be the issue?

I tried using battery alone, outlet power alone and both, without success. Both the battery and the power adapter works fine with another C610 I have, so they are not an issue.

Thank you very much.

Raj.

try booting with one memory chip (if you have 2) then swap it with the other

Try removing the Hard Drive and booting up

If you have only one DIMM you should locate a new one and try it.
