Decided to do Vista/Win7 and XP flavors this time, both in 32-bit and 64-bit trim. Let the feedback commence!
I'm downloading this one now, though I am in the process of moving and becoming a homeowner, so I may not have a ton of time to test it out. I'll try to run a few benchies within a few days.
Just did some very limited/quick testing, and so far I've run across one problem -- I can't get Far Cry 2 to work. No idea if it is a driver conflict, or something else on my part -- but I haven't changed anything to the game or drivers. It starts loading, then freezes up, and I have to end the process (which isn't responding). I've tried 4 times, and can't get it to start the benchmark.

Other than that, I got 70.0 fps on Trackmania, and 69.8 ave/217.0 max/11.9 min on Company of Heroes. So far the IQ of these looks closer to 195.39's (meaning very nice), but seems noticeably smoother than those drivers to my eye. But as I said, this is all preliminary, and I will do some further/more in-depth testing later if I can. But so far, these look to be a good release candidate (that is, unless the FC2 problems aren't just mine).

Thanks Tony!

----------------------

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they run cool like the 195.39's. Seems like these are pretty much just "fixed" 195.39's. Best of both worlds? We'll see.

Looks like nVidia just added the WHQL version of these drivers. I saw a couple people on other forums say that the WHQL's fixed a couple problems they were having with the DESKTOP versions. I wonder if it is the same with the mobiles?

Either way, I think you should re-apply the MobileForce treatment to the WHQL versions of these. I'm liking them, myself.

These are the WHQL versions

Yeah, with any non-WHQL driver, it will pop up asking if you are SURE you want to install them since they aren't WHQL.

By the way, looks like TweakForce came out with their 195.62's. I'm not downloading them, because these "betas" have been rock-solid for me. Played Dragon Age Origins hooked up to my 52" Samsung LCD HDTV, running at 1920x1080, for like ~4 hours straight yesterday with zero problems. I have had no problems with these, other than my overclock resets to default after rebooting (which isn't too big a deal), and Far Cy 2 not wanting to work (I don't care, as I don't play it anymore -- I just use it as a benchmark).

Sorry, I've been busy moving and have been sick the past couple days. But these get my thumbs up to go final.

I cannot get these drivers to work because of the fact that i cannot install the nvidia control panel. It gives me an error tell me to restore back to the previous drivers since these drivers wont work without the nvidia control panel
im using the nvidia 7000m / 610 nforce

Im currently using these: NBF MobileForce Se7en 190.38 (32-Bit / 64-Bit)
and i still cannot get the nvidia control panel to install even after getting help from http://www.notebookforums.com/thread230715.html but still they are decent

I tried the tweakforce drivers and i got the nvidia control panel to install but the performance for them arent as good as the NBF MobileForce Se7en 190.38 (32-Bit / 64-Bit) without the control panel

So i went back to NBF MobileForce Se7en 190.38 (32-Bit / 64-Bit)
and the performance was decently better but now i want actually test these drivers

any help?

just curious did you uninstall the previous driver before installing the new one, your control panel problem is a common one when installing driver over previous driver

yes followed the guide except that
always vcadisplay or something similar driver installs even in safe mode
so when i uninstall that, there will still be some files that arent deleted until the next boot
so when i boot back, it will install itself again..and again

Seems like you have a bigger problem than the NVIDIA control panel not installing properly. Personally, I've never seen an issue similar to that at all.

I know it's not the drivers, as I'm using them on my laptop (and desktop, if it counts) without any issue. I've also had a couple friends install them, still no issues.

I'd suggest looking into the problem further, as if you're having problems with multiple drivers (you pointed out that the same issue was happening with 190.38) it's more than likely not a driver issue. Also, as no one else has had this issue with either 190.38 or 195.62, the cause of your issues is even further pointing towards something on your end.

Also, I apologize for my absence recently. I've been preparing to move at the beginning of January (roundabout) and that's been consuming all of my free time.

Right now, this project is gonna have to take a back seat to that until I can get everything squared away. I hope you guys can be patient with me until I can get things squared away here.

Thanks in advance, and Happy Holidays all around!

Im not sure what to do. Is there a program that shows the log files when i install the graphics card? Any other ways?

Hello, 3DMark 06:

GF9600M GT 1GB @ 650/530/1625

In-game performance tested only on AVATAR: Ultra High 1440x900. Minimal framerate was 15 fps, on Dox 17 fps. I will keep up with this driver and test other stuff.

EDIT: wow :- ) Dragon Age got +4-5fps boost, maxed out 1440x900 from 15 minimal to 19fps !
those drivers work better with Dragon age? wonderful!
