DVDR locks sys with any use

Hello,

I do not know if these 2 things are related;
I just installed Nero 6 and just after this every time I try and use the DVD
for anything, it causes the notebook to lock up.
Frozen curser and everything.
I uninstalled everything but it still locks up.
I really need this to work.
What should I do?

my system is:
Sager 888e (0) 3.02ghz - 1gb ram
1X DVDr

Had the same problem. Found that it was Nero's InCD application causing the problem. Make sure this program has been uninstalled. You can then install all the other components of Nero. Their have been a number of reports of this problem affecting the DVD-r drive.
