It is only a recommendation, you can use Driver Cleaner free version and it would do the job.

I noticed that when i got to unistall progams and look for the nvida display drivers there are none.Theres one that says nvidia but the options are to Remove all nvidia drivers, remove all nvidia drivers except the display drivers and remove the following...Nvidia ethernet driver components and nvidia smu driver.I dont see a option to only remove the display drivers, which is what i want. Can i just to to uninstall from device manager?

Check Control Panel - Device manager and tell me if the 9400 GPU is there along with the GTX cards ?

if so go into the BIOS and disbale it

I found that when all the GPU's are listed it messed up my game play.

aso did you install the Chipset drivers from the Dell Site, along with the Sounds drivers

I used the drivers from the disk for sound/chipset

check dells site for any updates to those drivers

and make sure you do the Windows updates - keep doing them until it says no more are available ( several reboots required )

Go slow with the drivers and apps. One at a time ... And restore points along the way.

Reinstall seems to have helped..New Problem though.....after i shut my laptop down and i start it back up i lose my internet connection...i cant even see my connection in the ones available..the only way to get it back is to uninstall the broadcom and restart windows and then it detects it and works...but if i turn off my pc and then back on..its gone again.Any thoughts?

My preference is for the Intel 5300 wireless solution and they are fairly cheap on Ebay. Beyond that I know Win 7 takes some time to get wireless up and running and you might make double sure you have your wireless setup as a profile preset (such as "home") so it knows to find it quickly.

Better experts than me might chime in, however, so listen to them first

which drivers are you using

Windows or the Dell ?
