Well,

I checked on eBay and just the 7950GTX cards are going for $400~$500.

The M1710's with similar configuations to mine are going for $700~$850.

I'd let Jordan have first chance to buy at $700 as he is a notebookforum member.

Man this is so cool. Now the (qhn) rule

- if it works out, I want a 6-packs
- if it does not work out, I can settle with a 3-packs

Good lucks to both of you.

cheers ...

For a buyer who wants 17" WUXGA decent GPU this is a fair price. Any buyer who does not need a 17 or WUXGA you can get better in that price range.

Just so you know I'm running Dragon Age now on my 1710, using 1920x1200 (7950gtx and 2.33 cpu) but it only runs with low textures. Those are still pretty good even at low. But it's an impressive machine for being several years old.

He countered with an offer of just $600 being his top offer. I can certainly understand him wanting to get as good a deal as possible, but...

I guess I'd be willing to sell it for $650, that would be considered better than a fair deal by other forum members.

If anybody else is interested, please let me know.

Try it with the for sale section here.

I would take $650. A bird in the hand is better than three in the bush. It offers certain things it is dated. It is hard to price.
