So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...
Lenovo Thinkpad W530 Review

One of the longest and most enduring brands in computers is Thinkpad. Originally developed by IBM in the USA, Thinkpad notebook computers are now...
It's a hobby. Usually recoup money when selling systems. I've sold 4 laptops and multiple hard drives and processors this year. It's a never ending cycle. Just like with the 4850s. I'll sell the 3870s to get some of the money back.
No, I've even tried stripping it down further as in 1 dimm, 1 hard drive and disabling devices I don't use that I cannot remove. It's a difficult puzzle to solve because it lacks consistency.
Ran some benchmarks with my T9900 and the QX9300 with my 4850s yesterday and the T9900 performed better with the new cards. I simply don't have enough "juice" to push the cards. Oh well I may just sell the system now.
No I definitely pushed the 4870s harder than the 4850s. Plus the problem didn't happen until after reinstalling the OS. It didn't happen while benchmarking so I have no real proof why it happened.
NWGuru, awesome pictures!
I'm quite envious of your systems. I was wanting to buy a M17/9750 design before they redesigned system to the M17x. I have always been a fan of the classic skull cap design. I wish they still offered this system!
What do you think of the difference between chassis / overall appearance? likes / dislikes?
I like the old skull cap also but the current systems are better built but the trade off is it is heavier. I think anyone would be happy with either. They are not flimsy like the Asus systems.
