Bad 7900GS...worth anything?

Can you do anything with a bad 7900GS for the E1705? I sent mine to the place that tries to repair the RAM but they couldn't do anything to it.

Is the card worth anything?

Did you try making an omlette a la geforce out of it?

Seriously, bake that thing like a soufflé and it might just work. What've you got to loose?

pre heat an oven for 10mins at 375. Strip down the card to nothing then bake i at 375 Farenheit on a flat piece of cardboard. for 6 mins GPU side up then flip it over in the oven for another 3 on the other side and then flip it back. Turn oven off and let it sit in there for half hour until it is cool. I did it with 2 cards that gave me jaggies all over the screen and it really works!! it seems that these cards are notorius for shitty solder connections. After a while the chips come loose.

Interesting with the pancake flip move. I only do the bake on one side. Another baking variant that works

cheers ...

Well i figure you gotta get gravity to play it's part and work it on both sides. This way the ram on the other side gets to settle in place also. I figured if you do that then the connections will last longer. Also has anyone tries doing this with and XBOX 360 Motherboard that gets the ROD? I threw mine away cause of it and I might get another with that issue. wondering if doing something like this will fix it also. Hmm....
