Just decided to go for it :P

Thank you for all your benchmark submissions. You're dominating in some of those scores. Too bad you don't have windows 7 on there, you'd take the WEI for sure.

Thanks very much man, i do have Win7 but my HDDs are Seagate momentus 7200RPMs, cant wait to get 2x Intel X-25-E 64GB to run in RAID 0

i thought about throwing in a SSD in my 5750. I still may consider it if the prices go down after the holidays.

They are damn expensive, maybe ill ask for two for christmas haha
post #6 of 22
They'll be sure to come down in price as the capacity gets larger and the technology gets perfected. I'm running a 128GB drive in my desktop as my boot drive. It's working perfectly but I can totally tell the difference between my SSD and my disk drives.

What OS are you running?

Edit: Oh Windows 7 in your sig. Make sure you go through and disable;

1 Superfetch
2 Windows Defragmenter
3 Drive Indexing

Cool man thanks for that
I heard superfetch will kill the SSD cause of read/writes etc
I never index my drive anyway so its all good
Can i add more benches to this post?
I have crysis run now

EDIT:
Oops my crysis benchmark was the full GUI one?
Where do i get the cmd prompt version, im unsure as to what the benchmark program for crysis is...
You can add as many benches as you want

cheers ...

Nice benches. GPU is listed as GTX 180M? Typo. Change for the non Clevo crowd.

I didnt type in 180M it auto identifies as that?
Same as 3DMark ORB, it brings up 180m?

Hey MT,

Thanks for the submission. I am now considering this uber brick. Any throttling or latency issues? Seems like the xps line has throttling and the Aliens are having some latency issues

Hi Man,
It doesnt allow BIOS Ocing which i am petitioning to get changed but it does run at the 3333Mhz reference speed of the i7-975 and if you use the EVGA E-Leet Tuning Utility then you can play with the Turboboost Multiplier

But apart from that thats it
