Hi there,

Im having great problems with the system hanging on boot with the alienware head showing.

Coming up with overclock failed ocasionaly or just hanging! the thing is that the system is not over clocked.

multiplier set to default and memory to default.

memory is 1333mhz and set to this not fsb thats default.

geting alot of blue screens about 1 a day too plus the normal mega stuttering and audio spikes due to DPC latency issues.

its a great system shame it doesnt work

Multiple things to try,

1. Power drain - unplug AC, system battery, hold power for 20 seconds, plug everything back in.

2. Reset bios to factory defaults.

3. Reflash system bios.

If these don't work then we would need to see some cpu-z and gpu-z screen shots.

Test the memory? Memtest? Try DIMM's one at a time?

I have swapped the memory over from another computer!

and have ran full diagnostic memory test

no problems reported!
