How many of you folks have experianced a failure of the motherboard in which the A/C adaptor is plugged in, and the small power LED on the panel is very dim? The laptop will be dead at this point.
This is a 7405gx I sold and the original motherboard failed. I replaced the MB with one from a 7426gx and also had him buy a new adaptor just in case it was overvolting. A year later, this board failed. What gives?
This would also apply to anyone who owns an emachines m68xx as they share the same motherboard.
