CURRENT Inspiron 17 internal bluetooth location?

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone here could tell me exactly where to find the internal location on the notebook where the bluetooth card is/would have been installed? I'm buying an Inspiron 17 soon (but bluetooth is not being offered right now) but I'm assuming the cable/connector will still be in the labtop. So I wanna check it out once I get it to see if I can just buy a card on ebay for it. If there is no cable connector for it or slot for it I would have no idea how to install one either or even where it would go on the board.

P.S. I'm just trying to avoid having to buy an external adapter...this is ridiculous that Dell is dropping internal bluetooth on their notebooks-they must be smoking some serious crack to have made this decision!

I believe it is located under the hindge cover.

BTW you can access all the dell service and owners manuals here

You have to practically remove every device inside the notebook to get to the card? That is crazy! According to the pics, it looks like the bluetooth location is the same as my XPS M1530...if that's the case all you have to do then is remove the keyboard to get to the card. Can anyone confirm this?

Also since I would be getting Windows 7, would I want Dell's latest 370 card...I believe it is?

Also, when browsing system models to find drivers available for that system, there doesn't seem to be a selection for the Inspiron 17. Why does Dell seem to be hiding this model on their website when it comes to support for it? I can't find the model listed under anything for any support. Does anyone know the link for the drivers for the Inspiron 17 model?

This is really weird...I clicked on every 1700 computer model listed for inspiron and it shows pics for each model, none of the pics match up to the current model being sold.

That should be the correct driver page that Dave-p linked to. It's just that Dell doesn't have a photo of the 1750 up on the driver page yet.
