windows experience score low!!

Thread Starter
i recently upgraded vista 64 to win 7 and also upgraded the video cards to dual 280m in sli and i cant figure out why my scores dont even hit 7.0. i have a corsair p128 ssd drive and its the lowest score at 5.9. my gaming graphics are 6.8, memory 6.9, cpu at 6.8 and aero at 6.8.. this seems low for me as the hardware is pretty top of the line.. graphics driver is the dell version for win 7 186.64. is this low and if so does anybody no how to improve this score???

on a side note, with win 7 i had to set cpu overclock to default as i was getting random BSOD's with BCCodes of 124 and 7f. was running T9600 @ 3.5 O/C.

Post a Crystaldiskmark or hdtune benchmark of your SSD.

Mine was also low until I disabled the integrated graphics.

How come my sequential Write speed on SSD is so close to the sequential write speed on the traditional HD? only a 10 MB diff. The SSD def trumps the other in EVERY thing else! Random read and writes hurt spinning drives hehe!

My seq write on my x-25M is 108. Make sure you have the latest firmware installed. The biggest downside to the Intel drives is the seq write.

What Firmware is on your SSD? I wen to the intel website and didn't find any info on firmware updates. I got the SSD tool box, but it should not be needed b/c windows 7 has "trim" feature.

I have all 7.2 except my hard drives. They drag it down to a 5.9.
