Acer AS6920-6898 What can i expect?

just bought this
core 2 duo 2.2
4gb ram
nvidia 9500gs
320gb hd

Plus all the standard laptop stuff dvdrw, wifi, etc...

Is this a good gaming/multimedia laptop for me for the next few years? just picked it up for 499.99 and didnt have to pay tax and shipping is free. What does everyone think? Havent found any reviews online about this model. But wonering what doyou think about the specs? Should i be able to play HL2, Crysis, etc.. without any problems? Also it comes with vista 64bit but i going to upgrade to win7 cuz i have it on my other acer laptop. Pleasee any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks again

For the price, it is a decent to good (new) system for what you wrote.

I have a very similar card performance wise. Crysis is pushing it. I find it playable at 800x600 med to low settings. COD4 is playable 1024x768 highest setting (no AA) BioShock is playable high also. COD on high is over 150fps. I don't game much but you can have some fun with lots of games. But it is not a hardcore gaming system so won't do all. But at that price I think you got a very good buy. Dedicated GPU @$500 to me is always a good deal.

NBC has your 7900 go (GS?) very close to 9500m GS? Curious how it actually works out real world? Oh I see you OC'd? You might be able to OC the 9500. Anyway want to know how the slightly faster CPU and new 9500 that must have more than the 256MB of the 7900 but 128bit bus vs 256bit does?
