In my hive I have 3 bios versions. B-14 is the latest but it does not tell me what it updates. I also have two keyboard controller bios with 130E being the latest. Mine came already updated with this as well.

Would it be possible and not too much to inquire if you would attach the file within a post for other members in need?

gamer is no dumb.

Just post and go into advanced mode. There you can click on the attach (paper clip icon). A new window will open allowing you to browse your folder for the file(s). When done, click on "upload", then close the window. The attachment(s) will show up after you submit the post.

Moonstone65 if you have the new M17x from dell/alienware you should not need any my hive account. All of the drivers and bos updates you need are located on dells website. You can find your model or just enter your service tag that should be on the bottom of your laptop.

I can do that an all but i was not able to get them to give me an account number (which should be my service tag) + the guy i talked to said they were shuting down the hive. which is a bummer cause i always wanted to go there. i guess cause i didn't buy the laptop it was a replacement for my damaged m1730 they don't really give me all the support i would get if i bought it.

an i have a game ive been playing for years but won't play on 64bit so need drivers for win7 or winvista 32bit. thought the hive might have them. Thanks!!!

Just go to Dell.com under for home then drivers and support. You dont need the service tag or anything for that matter. Just select your system and it will list all the drivers for it

I got the service tag an express one too on the bottom on my m17x so i do have the drivers page bookmarked. but on 32 drivers that i can recall. this is my first alienware laptop and i bought the matching keyboard a couple of weeks ago.

it's really been a pain in the butt. if i can't work it all out ill ebay this setup too.

Thanks for inquiring, Christmas was nice and quiet. Glad that you got what you need with the respawn.

Let us know how it works out with the drivers from Dewman50's suggestion.
