Speed On Battery Power

Hey guys! I'm new to this forum. Sorry if I do anything wrong.

I'm currently using an Alienware M15x. It runs all my games GREAT, but whenever I unplug the power supply, everything goes slow. Even simple games. I'm guessing everyone has this problem so I was wondering if there was a way to fix this. And yes, my minimum CPU power on battery is set to 100% in Alienware fusion.

How about just reviewing and setting the Windows power scheme to "desktop" (or something like that) under battery?

Thanks, but all the settings in "advanced power settings" are set to max performance.
