Okay so get this, I talked to dell and they said it's the video card but it is on back-order, so they are sending me a new system. They said it will have an Ati video card. I haven't checked in a while but when i got my laptop Nvidia made the best cards (i had 7900 gs) and there was only 1 better card, gtx. Ati didn't make one better. I mentioned this that i wanted to get a card that was at least as good or better. She said multiple times that it would be as good or better.

The guy could never really say if the video card would be better or not, he said the systems specs would be better though, but the video card is very important to me. They are calling me in about 10 days to discuss system specs. Do you guys know what laptop Ati video cards are better than the 7900 gs now?

From other posts I think a Studio XPS 16 with a HD3670m. It can be argued if the system is better or worse. The 7900GS has the edge in older games. Can't say for certain which is better on current games. 7900GS was a higher end card in it's time than HD3670m is. Also Nvidia games better on most games regardless of what 3DMark says.

I do not see you being 100% happy. I only hope they make other components upgrades to sweeten the deal. If you can get a m17x more power to you not seeing that happening even if it did in the past. Good luck.
