Will the m17x fit in this case, the Pelican 1495CC1?

. Pelican interior dimensions: 18.87" x 13.12" x 3.81"

. m17x: 16" x 12.5" x 2.1"

Should work, but not giving much left for other paperwork inside.

Thanks! I just ordered one for $189 shipped at Amazon. I hope it works.

Take some pics with the m17x out and inside and share with us. Like I mentioned above, gonna be tight if one has other material to pack inside along with the notebook.

I will take some pictures tomorrow, when the case arrives. I sure hope it fits the laptop. I have been using a rolling Zero Halliburton case that is really big and heavy, but allows me to carry other things in the case at the same time. This is the ZH case that I have:

It works great, but is too large to carry every day.

I carry my "large" notebook(s) in a wheel-carrier/briefcase combi. They can be pretty heavy to lug around if one has to run to meetings and what not.

Ok, I got the case, and it fits like a glove. The only thing that does not fit is te nylon case for the AC adapter. Since the AC adapter has to stand on edge, the thickness of the pouch makes the AC adapter a little too wide. It's not a big deal. Everything fits nice and snug. I feel like a special agent carrying this thing around.

I was thinking about stenciling something on the outside to make it look military. Maybe the Alienware characters.

I forgot to mention that the total weight of the laptop and case is 26 pounds!
