Old Extensa 390 C Display specs

I just installed Windows 95 on a Extensa 390C laptop and when it came to setting the graphics it had about 20 different listings under Acer like 11D and 15P, 33DL and so on.......I've Googled all around and haven't had any luck finding the specs on it. I hope that someone here will have an old 390 and let me know what to set it at. It's a 12 inch screen.....Thanks.

Try with 1024x768 - my wild guess.

Thanks ghn but I've already figured out that the resolution is 800X600. I need to know what adapter to choose from. I have a long list which includes "Acer". On the acer list, there's around 20 selections and then I have to know if it's VGA or SVGA, 256 or 16 color. It's an old 1998 computer that I just want to put some simple games in like "Space Invaders" for a young kid.

Can you just try different settings? 800x600 is SVGA and I would just take 16 color.

Thanks ghn.....I'm trying different settings and what you suggest is about it. The setup log lists Chips & Tech as the adapter so I'm going from there.

You might need a PCMCIA expansion card that supports either wireless or Ethernet connection

Take a look thru here and maybe there will be a listing of default settings for screen resolution/display settings etc
