Best processor for a C2D Inspiron 9400

Just wondering what the best processor for an Inspiron 9400 is?

I am currently running on a C2D T7400 at the moment, but, would like to upgrade.

While I notice a marked improvement and will there be any issues such as overheating?

I have just gone upto 4mg of Ram and now have a 500mb hard drive, although, didn't realise that I could have got a 7200rpm one until I bought it

The fastest CPU is the T7600 which will not give you that much more speed for the buck.

Don't bother getting the T7600G as the 9400 does not support Over Clocking like the XPS M1710 did.

yep totally not worth the upgrade, in real life you will see no improvement.
