CRAP!!!, i just ordered my laptop on monday!!! well i guess i will miss out on the mobile i7 lol someone give me some good news to make me feel better lol oh well. its not always a good idea to go with something brand new since we dont know how it will do in the m17x. ill still have a saweet gaming laptop lol. and still the i7 has no gaming advantage over the core 2's except that it can overclock itself apparently... still pretty upset but ill get over it. it would have still cost me close to 3000 dollars and would give me the same gaming ability haha

You could always cancel the order and reorder when the i7's are available. Might be as early as next week.

Nah. If i got an i7 laptop it wouldnt be a mobile one. I would want the clevo laptop with the desktop i7 and triple channel memory =] but if i got the alienware one i wouldnt be able to get the extended warranty or i would have to downgrade to sli 260's

Does this mean they ditched the Nvidia chipset?

Intel and nVidia has parted companies as of last month. I think. There might be a slim possibility of future and limited partnership for some models though.

cheers ...
