Value of used SSDs?

What is generally the value of a used 80 gb SSD? It seems like the failure rate is so high that the used ones would be basically worthless, kind of like a used Xbox 360.

Reason I ask is I am looking at buying a laptop with a 80gb SSD but I don't want the SSD drive and was wondering what it would generally fetch selling used. It's especially important in that the asking price is greater then the MRSP w/o the SSD, so I'd hate to buy it and pay more then retail for a used laptop.

moved to pricing. SSDs are very new tech, relatively speaking, so they're still worth a lot even when used. I'd estimate a slightly higher loss of value rate than computers, so an SSD would lose around half its value each year.
