Link works now. 20 filed complaints 5 unanswered in last 36 months. I can only guess they don't understand the importance of of the BBB rating or do not care. I believe a very large portion of their sales are through resellers. Even though Sager does do the actual work resellers can be helpful in facilitating repair/replacement issues.
My suggestion is buy from a good reseller who will back you up. No reason to buy direct from Sager it does not cost less price is the same. On the XoticPC boards I do read the occasional frustration with Sager support. They appear to be promptly resolved with the quick help of Xotic. I am sure same with other resellers. The resellers do have channels and lines of communication above the front line available to customers. Not that it should require but I accept things as they are not as they should be.
Last I looked Xotic and PowerNotebooks had the highest BBB rating as others do also.
Don't buy from Sager direct they are not as consumer oriented as their resellers.
And not to be an apologist for Sager but 20 BBB complaints in 36 months does not seem excessive?
It does seem shortsighted of Sager to not address these 5 unanswered complaints maybe arrogant?
