XPS 1530 and desktop infected w/spyware

Pls, its been awhile since i've posted--i'm frantic have been hit big time w/pop ups and red alerts saying my computer is infected.

can u recommend a anti spyware that i can use to fix--i'm not sophisticated on the computer so it would have to be not too technical. Thank you very Much! m007

try Spybot - is a free Dl

Spycathcer is very good they have a free version as well.

Clean out your Temporary files as well.

Or it could be that you are a victim of a virus spam scam...

Where does these messages coming from? Which antivirus (or whatever) are you using?

malwarebytes anti-malware is also a good one to use. I always recommend using more than one spyware scanner so you can get some overlap.

dave-p, qhn, and MrEvil, i have Windows Security Suite, rogue anti-spyware. It pops up on my laptop and desktop unpredictably. Not all the time. When it does I shut the pc off and it goes away. I know there is something wrong. The first time it happened it scared the heck out of me--all these red flashing words 'infected- virus -trojan , etc.

would u know if there are any safe/secure ways to get rid of this? Thank you again for your help. Really appreciate it.

run a full scan with Windows security suite and delete or isolate any infected files

IMO anti-malwarebytes has done the job on it's own for the past year. It's very effective
