Advent 8375 price check please.

First post, be gentle with me.

Advent 8375 with 512Mb RAM.
Allegedly good battery.
Win XP Pro.

Firstly, any good for my wife to play solitaire and facebook games in front of the fire?
Secondly, what sort of price?

I personally would not give it more than 120 quids, taking in consideration of only light usage scratches and no damage anywhere else.

You want also to make sure that the notebook is being fitted with 1gigo of memory for games.

Thanks. I've got him down to £95 already (he was wanting £130). Just checking it isn't a steaming pile of you know what.
Guess I'll do the deal then and see how XP runs with 512Mb for now.

Cool. Pop in another 512MB ram and your lady will be set for a while. Use less system resource antivirus like MSE (and Window Firewall) and it can fly.

It's only for really basic use, she likes to play facebook games and solitaire. We've got an open fire and she's got it into her head she wants to sit in front of it with the cat and facebook instead of using the desktop upstairs.
So, obviously I'm loathe to spend too much really as she'll probably not use it for 6 months of the year.
